Beware the Ides of March

I know that's not a song title like the rest of the news items and it's also passed the Ides of March but it's appropriate when the office is on the 3rd floor with no elevator and 2 count them 2 releases come through the door.

The Ergs "Books About Miles Davis" 7" is now available for purchase only here on this very website. The official release date is May 29th but since this is a teaser single for their "Upstairs, Downstairs" album on Dirtnap Records I figured let's get it out there. How come albums don't have teaser singles anymore?

The Unlovables "Heartsickle" has also come in but that is not available for sale just yet. I highly recommend that everyone order it from Interpunk as soon as you can preorder, which should be in about a week. Also while you are at it, pick up a svelte Whoa Oh shirt while you are at it. The official release date for "Heartsickle" is April 17!

In other news the Ergs/Lemuria split is off to the plant so that bad boy will be here shortly and I must say that both bands step up to the plate with this one.

The 20 Belows have finished their tour with the McCrackins throughout Europe but their album still available and terrific!

Another One Bites The Dusk

I'm very happy to report that the Teen Sensation Glasses self titled album is now out of print! You can still get it on iTunes and you can still pick up their split with the Vents.

In other news hopefully I'll be able to report some new releases shortly and The Unlovables "Heartsickle" album is quickly sneaking up on us.

You can hear two new Unlovables songs at The Unlovables Myspace and at the Whoa Oh Records Myspace. The album is called "Hearsickle" and should see the light of day in April, be excited.

Have You Ever Loved?

When it rains, it pours. In an effort to make 2007 chock full of releases we are very proud to announce that in addition to the 20 Belows album "Headaches and Moodswings," (officially out 2/6/07), not one but two 7"s by The Ergs. Now that "3 Guys, 12 Eyes" is out of print it's only right that we refill our Ergs vinyl fetish. To up the stakes even more one of the 7"s will be a split with the mighty Lemuria and with their label Art of The Underground.
