I'm so close to dying

If, for the time being, you look directly above this paragraph you'll see the Manix 7" cover in all its glory. Meaning the record is in and it smokes! For those like myself who require, nay, demand instant gratification, you can get it from iTunes .

Hit the refresh button on punknews.org punknews.org in the coming days and see the first ever Whoa Oh banner ad. All I have to say is that the timelines in Flash are stupid and confusing.

Of All The Girls Throwing Rocks At Your Window

The Manix "Van Activities" 7" is at the plant and hopefully will be your grubby little paws in about a month. Get excited because these guys are real good.

Hey Whiskey, Hey Ginger

Where to being? I know I start a lot of these with where to being or that there's too much to report but this time I really really really mean it!

The Manix from the twin cities rule. They rule so much expect a 7" out in January.

December is looming and that means it's time for another coat drive to help New York's homeless. You can hand coats to me, mail them to the office or drop them off to any of the approved NY Cares locations (Police departments, TWC Stores, Janovich Stores, Penn Station, Port Authority, Grand Central, or Bryant Park). If you drop off any coats to those sites send me an email.

December is also the time to tour or so it seems. The Sidekicks and Tin Armor are going out for 10 days and I'm going to come out and say it, if you miss the two best bands from Ohio then you are stupid. Here are the dates:

So If You Want To Go, Then Go, But I Can't Until I See You Here Tomorrow

The O Pioneers!!! "This Is How I Feel" 7" is in! It's a one sided 7" with the song "Limp Bizkit Covering Limp Bizkit" and it has a die cut cover. This is an extremely limited run. I mean extremely, if these last a week I'll be shocked. It's release page is being built as your eyes graze these words so in the meantime send over $3 +$1 for the Post Office to whoaoh@gmail.com for your 7". These come in a brown sleeve but I have a handful of white ones which were a Vinyl Collective exclusive (shhh). There are two that have a green sleeve and those are $15 each and all the proceeds are going to New York Cares.

I've finally fixed the debauchery that was the international shipping box, now ordering for everything should be much easier for everyone involved.

Now I Try To Be Amused

It's been too long since there's been a new release in these parts and that's all about the change very very quickly. The 26th (one for every letter of the alphabet) release will be Houston's own O Pioneers doing a one sided 7". If all goes well these should be here and good to go at the end of August if not early September. It's what every kid will need for going back to school.

I don't really read magazines. I tend to only read one with any regularity and that's Razorcake. So you can imagine what a thrill it was to be interviewed for issue 51 which has just come out. I've uploaded the interview here. I recommend you pick up a copy or at the minimum visit Razorcake.org and see what you've been missing for 51 issues. I have a handful of copies of this issue so for a limited time you'll get a free copy with orders.

Open Up Your Folding Chair Next To Mine

Great news everybody! I'm happy to report that "All The Wrong Moves" by Darlington is now out of print and you can only grab one of the few remaining copies from the band. Also, the 20 Belows "Headaches and Moodswings" is getting dangerously close to being out of print so grab one of those while you still can and catch them when they come through the Mid West in a few days. Details at www.myspace.com/the20belows
